Connect Any other AI app

Works on a phone or a computer — wherever your AI app lets you add a connector.

Before you begin

What it can do: read and change your trips, saved places and collections — your whole Finding Horizons account, not one trip. It can’t see your password or payment details.

Who processes it: what Any other AI app reads goes to the company that runs Any other AI app, under its terms, and uses your plan with them. On the Finding Horizons side, connecting is part of Horizons Plus and Nomad.

Disconnect or rotate any time: on the Connect page, or in the app: Profile → Connect your AI → Connected apps. Rotate makes a new link and stops the old one — do it if your link was pasted somewhere it shouldn’t be, or a device with it was lost. Disconnecting stops future access; it does not erase what Any other AI app has already kept.

How it connects

Your AI app is given the Finding Horizons address and signs you in: you sign in once and approve. Your AI app keeps that connection in its own secure store and renews it on its own — no key to paste again. We haven’t seen it finish with Your AI app yet; if signing in fails, the steps also give you a private link.

  1. In your AI app, find where it adds a connector

It may be called a custom connector, an MCP server, or a remote server. Apps that have it include Cursor, VS Code (GitHub Copilot), Windsurf, JetBrains AI Assistant, Gemini CLI and Claude Code.

  2. Give it this address, and let it sign you in

If it asks how to sign in, choose OAuth and leave any client ID or secret empty — the app registers itself. Sign in to Finding Horizons with the same account you use in the app, and approve. The app keeps the connection; nothing to paste again.

  3. Only if your app can't sign in: use your private link

Paste it as the address, and save. It works, but most apps can’t keep a link in their secure storage — sign-in is better when your app offers it.

  4. Check it worked

Ask your AI app: “What have I saved in Finding Horizons?” It should list your places.

Then open Connected to your account: your AI app is listed there with last used and today’s date (if you used a private link, the link says it). If it still says “not used yet”, your AI app hasn’t reached Finding Horizons — go back one step.
